How do I get rid up the measure bar numbers at the very top, above the music! I don't want it. It seems to hamper the scrolling very considerably.

Thanks!

View menu > Show > Measure Number Bar (de-select)

If I misunderstand you, then I apologize.

I just tried this and I didn't see or notice any difference. Perhaps my score is not big enough. What is the size of your score?

I must admit I have a blazingly fast gaming PC. It has some fancy high flouting video card that the very young computer salesman at Micro Center said I needed.

How do I know the "size of my score"? Thanks, Ernest.

Ed,

Are you on Windows or Mac? On a Mac, right click on the file, and choose Get Info. Windows, I don't know. But unless it's a 30 page orchestral score, I doubt it's big enough to matter.

Ed,
Most of my scores are normal concert band at around 3 to 4 minutes. Some are a bit longer but pretty common music. Here is my latest that went a little over my average.

But it is a 4 movement sorta thing

Many thanks, Ernie! I also commented on your piece. (I must admit: your use of "size" was concerning the "length" of the composition, vs. "size" about the screen, or something very ordinary!) Thanks.
