Sometimes when I enter note in one measure, it changes notes in a completely random measure elsewhere in the music. Any suggestions or anyone else have this issue?

I haven't seen that. Have you shut down and restarted the computer?

Not enough information for us to know the problem. Please post screen shots including the menu bar so that we can see what Tool you might be using.
