A problem that just started today, after perfectly good use on this program and on this  machine:

In simple entry, with one note highlighted, up- or down-arrows are supposed to adjust the pitches. Now, nothing. Command-arrow keys also do not function as they are meant to do.

Using: PrintMusic 2014.5, Macbook Air OS 10.12.6. (I know that 10.13 will not support PrintMusic, therefore I have not upgraded.)

Any ideas? I'm hoping it's just a setting adjustment I'm missing!

First, try restarting the computer.

If that doesn't do it, trash the preferences.

PM functions the same in HS as it does in Sierra if the OS is updated. It will not install over 10.13, however—neither will any version of Finale before 25.4.1. 

 

High Sierra with APFS has a very interesting feature that no one is talking about. I stumbled onto it accidentally and wrote about it here:

APFS is not supported on mechanical and fusion drives, not an issue with a MB Air.
