Win 10, Fin 2012

This is mainly a feature request, but it comes with a question:

When I first purchased Fin 2012, it had muted strings as an option, but I can't find it now.  I wrote in "con sord." and the sound of the strings changed to muted.

 

I'd love to be able to hear flautando, sul tasto/pont when I'm writing for strings, to get that classic Debussy/Ravel sound.  I see that "sul tasto" seems to be available, but "flautando" doesn't populate anything in the search box.

 

It would be great to be able to program a modulation wheel with that effect.  Perhaps it can already be done...?

There are other sample developers which already produce libraries which contain other techniques not covered by Garritan. Your best choice now would be Note Performer. It integrates very nicely into Finale 26 and IMO, sounds better than Garritan. I did not see flautando listed in their list of techniques, but many other techniques were available. https://noteperformer.com/  (This works on Finale 26)

 

There are other libraries which do contain many more techniques, unfortunately they do not work in Finale as well as Note Performer. They work better in a DAW. One such example is Spitfire audio. Their most inexpensive string library is Studio Strings, which can be found at https://www.spitfireaudio.com/shop/a-z/spitfire-studio-strings/  They contain: flautando, sul tasto, con sordino, sul pont, harmonics, Sul G and others.

When I wrote Con Sord. Playback plays pizzicato. Do you know what is the solution for this problem? I just want it to play regular at least, but not pizzicato.
