Clearly you have a font mismatch. You do not say what version of Finale you are using. Have you restarted your computer since installing Finale? That's the first step I would suggest. Beyond that, someone with more Mojave experience will, I hope, step in.

Finale is clearly not reading your fonts. There are a few likely causes but we need a lot more information from you. Mojave is not the cause of the issue which doesn't mean that the upgrade isn't triggering what you see.

I ended up figuring out after cleaning up my mac storage I ended up getting rid of or disabling fonts from font book, and reinstalling - shutting down fixed the issue. Thanks.
