I have a couple of issues going on, I hope to get some answers on here and hope that people can provide me some guidance.

I just bought a brand new 2019 13" MacBook Pro running Mac OS Mojave (Version 10.14.5) and downloaded Finale PrintMusic 2014.5 in order to continue projects that I've been working on. The downloaded worked great and I de-authorized finale on my old computer in order to authorize this new computer.

From here I am having a few issues, the first is that periodically the application just crashes. Sometimes it is as early as clicking the "Authorize" link from the window that shows how many trial days I have left of the 30 that Finale. Sometimes it is after I enter my first and last name and the serial number to the purchase of my Finale PrintMusic and click next. Sometimes it is when I enter all my personal info (address, organization, email, and email confirmation, etc.) and name of the computer. It will also crash sometimes when I try to just forgo the Authorization and create a document on the free trial.

Second, when the application does work and I am able to put in all my personal info (computer name, organization, address, email, etc) I list all the required fields and as soon as I hit next a pop up window appears reading, "Please fill out all required fields." However, I have already filled in all required fields and then some. I tried ONLY filling out the required fields and then some using the same email that I purchased Finale PrintMusic with, used a different email, checked yes to receive monthly email updates, and unchecked the box. And nothing seems to let me proceed even though I have entered all required fields.

Thanks so much in advanced for all of the help.

What Jeffery says.

Finale and PrintMusic 2014.5 run in demo mode only. The license manager crashes the app as soon as you enter your serial number.

Hmmm, I had no problems running it on Mojave....until I got a new iMac (also with Mojave) and now it crashes everytime I try to authorize it. Why is that? Exact same problems as listed above. Why would it choose to not run now....but ran before on the same OS?

Why doesn't matter. These statements are true:

Finale/Print Music 14.5 is not compatible with Mojave.

I'm a tiny bit curious as to how you had it working in Mojave but not enough to try and figure it out. It worked on my iMac Pro over High Sierra but not after I upgraded to Mojave.

Time to upgrade— Not only is 26 is compatible with Mojave and Catalina but it works properly on 5K monitors (Mac only).

Yes, I realize that Finale claims it is not compatible. And I am willing to upgrade, but I had read that 26 was not yet compatible with Catalina yet, so I didn't want to upgrade once, and then have to upgrade again when I do eventually get Catalina. Where is it notated that v26 works with Catalina? I was just researching this about 3 weeks ago.

On another similar note, any ideas how to get educator pricing on the upgrade to 26? I see student pricing showing up, but not for faculty/teachers.

Thanks,

T.

You can use the Submit a request link to contact MM Sales about Academic pricing and upgrades that may be available to you. Because of the holidays, it may take a few days before someone gets back to you (none of us who have replied work for MM — we’re users just like you).
