I have Finale V25 on MacOSX High Sierra. I created a drummer track on Logic Pro that I'm happy with, and want to bring it into Finale to notate it. I noticed some old threads on the old community board and on LogicProHelp (parallel thread) but the solutions there did not provide the needed library shown at the end of the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5finNhWxFIg&feature=youtu.be
Also, it doesn't deal with the issue that drummer notation is usually multiple layers on a staff so kick drum can have down flags, while other drums have up stems.
It seems the best / faster result was starting with exporting MIDI from Logic.
I decided to put the the hat (closed open opening) on one track, kick on another and the rest on a third. The results are here when opening the MIDI file in Finale:

Then I changed the instrument in FInale to Fusion Drum Kit:

Then I changed the notation style from Standard to Percussion (in the score manager):

THen I changed the percussion layout to drum set:

Then the staff notes changed to crazy low notes:

THen I had to use the Midi/Audio->Retranscribe feature:

And then the notes were reasonable again:

Finally, I flipped stems and merged the three layers into a single staff:

Unfortunately, even after all of this, the notation is not usable.
In particular:
1) The hat notation is not clear. There is no way to convert the two-note events into a single hat indication.
2) having multiple layers does not merge the stems, so the stems are offset and complicate the notation.
Thoughts?
