Hello. I'd like to edit my palettes. There are some tools I never use but while working quickly keep selecting accidentally. I'd like to customize my palettes. I see reference to this feature in videos and tutorials, but can't find the "Customize Palettes" option under my Windows menu. I'm using Finale v26 on a Mac (Mojave).

If this is a Windows-only feature...WHY?

I have never myself felt the need to hide palette icons, but I think that you can do it in this way:

 

1) Drag the icons around, to re-arrange the icons.

 

2) By dragging the lower left corner of the palette you can re-size or reshape the palette.

 

When you are done:

File menu > Save Preferences

Yes, it's a Windows only feature.

I use multiple monitors and would like those palette windows to go back where I left them — as they do in my browser and so many other apps.

 

Oh well... can't have that either. I'd still like it, though.
