I use version 26 with a windows computer and I am having trouble getting my page color to show in a pdf. I have the color selected in my preferences, but when I save it as a pdf, the page goes back to white. Does anyone know how to get the page color to save in the pdf?

Does your print dialogue have a checkbox for “Use Display Colors”?

It does,but when I select it the background color still shows up as white.

Sorry; I missed that in your original post. The background pattern or color uses a different part of the program than the other elements. I don’t know of a way to print that. You might have to do it in a graphics program, like Inkscape.

What pdf engine are you using?

 

Have you tried exporting through the Graphics menu?

 

This is one area where Mac and Win are quite different.
