Maestro Font Default.FTM could not be found

Hello, I'm having problems with opening finale notepad 2012.

Every time i try to open the program I'm greeted by this message and thus I'm unable to proceed to the program itself.

Tried anything but nothing worked.

Hope you guys can help me.

If you have tried “anything”, then you probably also have tried a re-install of the program - right?

yes, I have tried it.

Multiple times, with no effect on the issue.

You might also go to your Finale account, and download a fresh copy.

What OS? I'm guessing Windows or a Mac OS old enough to still run NotePad. More information would be helpful.

I'd still follow MikeR's suggestion first.

Wasn't .FTM the Windows template suffix? Or did Mac use it as well? I don't remember.

Apparently, it's the Windows default template. Here's a link to the 2012 manual. Knowing nothing about the original poster's OS, this is probably as close as we will get in the guessing game.

first of all, thank you for your helpful comments. As for my OS, I'm using windows 10 and Notepad hadn't worked on my pc at the past, it's a first time for me.

I actually haven't thought about the option that Notepad2012 may be too old for my system, thus causing this bug.

I'll look at the manual, maybe I'll find something there.
