I added a flute line to a score and it doesn't sound when I play back the score. Other parts do.
Also, I have S.D., B.D. and Cym. staves. Only the bass drum can be heard on playback
Not nearly enough information. We can't guess your setup, what instruments you are using, how you added the instrument etc.
