After I reauthorized my Windows 2014 Finale for some reason whenever I saved in my files, which are stored on OneDrive, OneDrive always put them into the recycling bin in OneDrive. I don’t know whether these are earlier versions of the same files or they’re duplicates, but I want to know how to stop it because It’s never done this before.

Make sure that the file path wasn’t changed. Maybe create a new folder in OneDrive, and reassign it for new saved files.

Microsoft OneDrive has a large set of variable, preferences etc. If your license is current, there is support and there are user groups, too. In addition, OneDrive in 365 has its own variables.

I stopped using One Drive and I advise you to do the same.  It is too flaky.  Keep in mind if you delete from One Drive it deletes everywhere. Get yourself an external HD and store your files on it or better yet get two and keep one in a different room of your house or place of business.

Need to take your files with you?  No biggie a 1TB external SSD HD is pretty small.

I back up to Time Machine to iCloud, and have Carbonite running as a second backup. Suspenders and belt. And I can access my files from anywhere with wi-fi.
