All well and good. He’s obviously qualified.

Yes, I am the bassist, Rufus Reid.  My question was how to fix the MIDI not working.  Then I found out that FINALE doesn't really have anything to do with the MIDI application at all.  It is integrated, but independent of the program.  All is well now.  I so do miss being able to speak to a live person.  Thank you.
