Can you still download 26.3?

Hey all,

I was wondering if you can still download version 26.3. I have 26.2.2 and I'm just starting to use it (I used to be a Sibelius user about 10 years ago and I'm just recently getting back into composition.) I first thought Finale was just very user unfriendly but the more I worked with it, the more I realized it's just being super buggy; smart shape tools don't work at all, the page goes completely blank when I switch from one layer to another layer and I have to hit "play" for the notes to come back, etc. etc.

When I checked for updates, the only option it gives me is Finale 27 and I'm not 100% certain I want to pay $145 after just recently buying this one. Anywho, I just thought I'd ask because for the things that work, it's great, but the bugginess is starting to get frustrating. :/

I have an M1 Mac Mini with Big Sur 11.5.2

There is a free maintenance update to Finale v26.3.1.643

- could not hurt to try it.

Look in the Finale menu - you can tell Finale to Check for Update.

When I tell Finale to check for updates, the only "update" it shows is 27; no maintenance ones. :/

Log into your MakeMusic account and go to 27. Click on the underlined Previous versions. You can download the last build of any version you have owned from Finale 2012 on. You cannot download earlier builds so, if you owned 26, only 26.3 is available.

Finale 11 and earlier require the CD. Only the updaters were online for download.

I believe Mike H meant log in to your account, and go to My Software. That’s where you will find your previous versions.

I did that and there wasn't an option to download old updates BUT I did download the entire program again and it was the newest version so it seems to have worked out. :o) All the things that weren't working before are working now.

Of course not. As I posted

You can download the last build of any version you have owned from Finale 2012 on.

and that's exactly what you found. I'm not being picky. These threads show up in Google searches and I don't want users in the future misunderstanding this.
