Are there any 3rd party Finale repertoire files available from anybody, anywhere?

I am a music instructor and I often edit classical or other music for simplicity or brevity. The Finale repertoire files do fit my needs quite nicely, but that is a drop in the bucket of all the music of the world. I just want more. I would pay. Does anyone else have additional repertoire files of classical music (or any other kind of music) already in Finale format that they would be willing to sell, trade or otherwise share.
A site to share Finale files used to exist but that was shut down years ago. Potential copyright liabilities were suspected as being the motivation.
Muse Group’s business model appears to be a) give the notation app away b) encourage users to do the work and upload the results c) charge people a subscription fee to download those files without compensating their creators d) license copyrighted works from the original publishers (maybe—too many works without required notices) while e) ignoring the legitimate copyright issues concerning the posting of arrangements of works in the public domain. This is what I’ve observed on their web site.
Since an announced scanning module in Finale 25 was dropped due to potential copyright issues, I would be very surprised if MakeMusic follows that model.
For those who know what I used to do in my music industry day gig, I’m retired nearly two years. That said, this will be my only post on the subject and I will not answer questions.
Correction: Muse Group
They own MuseScore, Audacity, Staff Pad, Ultimate Guitar, ToneBridge and other organizations
It's more trouble, but you might consider a scanning program like SmartScore. Grab a PDF of whatever you want from ISMLP or somewhere, and run it through SmartScore. (Since the quality of those scores is usually pretty poor, you will have to do some correction.) Then you can bring an XML into Finale, and go from there. In many cases, you may be able to do what you want to do in SmartScore, itself, and skip the Finale step.
As a Finale owner, you can buy SmartScore for half price, around $200. There is definitely a learning curve in SS, but it's worth taking the time. I'll be happy to talk more about it, if you want to contact me directly. My email is encoded in my signature, below.
