Thanks, Any idea how to reverse the direction of the tie in the part? For some reason (the slur?), Finale has inverted the tie from how it is in the score in the part

How does one hide a slur?

If I delete the slur in the lower part is gets deleted from the upper part as well. If I reenter the slur in the lower part, it shows up on the upper part as well.

I have like in your second example. If I split into two parts, the lower one is correct. The upper D to D has both a tie and a slur.

Adrian, it is different things. In system implosion and piano reduction, the grace notes go away and become clunkers with the next note. In part separation and layers, yes, it's the spacing.

The physical location is /Library/Fonts . I use them with all kinds of applications.

I was using Adobe Garamond Pro. Now I have switched to Adobe Caslon Pro. It is installed system wide "Computer". I don't have the version number. It does not appear to show up in Font Book.
