You can hear the note as you enter it. You can playback what you have entered. You cannot just click on an entered note, and hear it, as far as I know. I’m on Mac, so I can’t try Girard’s suggestio...

If memory serves me, you can just keep entering notes, and the program will add measures.

This worked for me. I attached the arpeggio articulation to layer 2. When I attached it to layer 1, it seemed (to my ear) to only be rolling the layer 1 notes.

It doesn't matter. If you want to upgrade the files to F26, just use File > Open, and resave them. They both use the musx format.

Are you also in 6/8, 9/8 or 12/8? Have you tried the method described above?

Are you using the measure numbers to determine where the change occurs? Do you have a pickup measure that may be moving things forward? I right click on the measure, and use the drop down to select...

Select the entire score. With the selection tool, right-click in a staff. From the drop-down menu, choose Clear Selected Items... In the next screen, first click None. Then click MIDI Data. OK.

Do other system sounds play? The Garritan instruments are a separate installation. Did you? Can you get playback thru MIDI?

Are you still using PrintMusc 1999? How are you entering notes and rests? Mouse? QWERTY keyboard? MIDI keyboard?
