Select the measures, and Update Layout. Also, make sure there aren’t any page breaks that are preventing measures flowing.

I’ve never been able to do it, either. And even when you shift the tiles, they don’t work properly. Finale blames the Mac OS, and has no further help.

If you mean you want two predefined tuplets, with different numbering, I don’t think so. At least, not out of the box. I don’t kniw of any plugins, either, but that doesn't mean there isn’t one. ...

I'll confirm the problem. Sorry, John, but it looks like not-ready-for-prime-time F27 strikes again. I haven't noticed that problem, but I've only opened F27 a couple of times, for things like this...

Paul, you should have an About Finale command somewhere in your menu bar. Be sure that the rest isn't there because of an incorrect (and hidden) time signature. This can easily happen in a scanne...
