Too often dynamics affect only one voice per staff. Or perhaps I should say assigning separate dynamics to different voices holding different instruments (MIDI channels) is seldom successful.

If instruments have unequal sampled volume (a real challenge with Garritan sounds), one can use the Finale Mixer (not the Aria Mixer) to set relative volumes and compensate.

If you want an em-dash, you have to add it manually. If you want a word extension, Finale adds that automatically (in the appropriate places) unless you have turned them off.

Given the appearance of your Score manager, I do not understand how you would be getting the "Staff #" labels on your staves. Beats me.
