I'll need to remember this, but it doesn't seem to apply here. I'm talking about a tremolo on a single not, i.e., a drum roll. It worked beautifully in v.26, but yields nothing here.

I fixed this in a weird way. In Audio Setup, I changed the buffer size, and the sound came back. Makes no sense to me.
Either Articulation or Smart Shapes - though Measure Tool does, too - almost any tool with handles.
Yes. It just made the handles disappear; still can't see the notes.
Finale also completely fails to export audio.
Also: Special Tools will load its menu, but the tools are non-functional.
Thank you. I did it, but the problem remains. Appears to be a serious conflict between Finale and the latest High Sierra update.
