NOTEPAD 2012

How do I make PDF files on notepad 2012, so I can e-mail to someone that has the full finale. I have Windows 10, intel i5 2.6 I also have adobe acrobat.

I need real simple directions I am not computer savy. I read that it said go to file and drop down and save as BUT this does nothing for me to get it as a PDF and outward.

You can send a Notepad file to the person who has full Finale and they'll be able to open it - it's the same file format. Conversely, you can open full Finale (2012 or older) files in Notepad. Does that help you?

Thank you Bruce for the help, BUT I still need to know how to make a PDF file to e-mail for those that don't have finale.

There are a number of free programs that you can install on your computer which will allow you to create a PDF file. A google search will turn them up.

Normally, you will print to .pdf. As has been mentioned, there are many freeware and commercial solutions for Windows. Windows 10 has this functionality built in, too.

Unlike Finale and PrintMusic, you cannot us Graphics/Export in NotePad.
