Hi all,

In my old version of Finale I used to be able to determine which elements I wanted copied  - notes, text, chords, dynamics et - with a drop down menu. I have the newest version but can't find that drop down menu. If anyone can help I would be most appreciative.

If you mean what I think you mean, then Edit / Edit Filter will take you to a screen where you choose what you want to copy.

Edit / Use Filter will then apply that filter to your copy and pastes.

Use the Copy Filter:

 

Edit menu > Edit Filter…
