I like using the copy part layout plugin from JW.
It doesn't work with finale 25. Is there a solution?
Mark McCarron
Hi Mark.
Jari is in th process of updating his plugins to run in 64bit mode. Until he has done so, you will not ba able to access any of his plugins in Finale 25.
If your workflow requires the use of the plugin, and you have an older version of Finale, I'd suggest doing that portion of your work in the older version. Finale 25 can save directly to Finale 2014 and 2012 (just be aware that new features, such as dashed slurs will not be present in any files saved to/ opened in older versions)
Alternatively, just wait until Jari has completed his work, or do everything manually (not optimum I know, but there it is)
You can keep an eye on his progress by looking at the 64bit test versions available on his download page.
Cheers...

Finale has a blog article about Plug-In developers (and Finale 25) at

There are 64-bit TEST version of some of the plug-ins at

To date, that seems to be it.
His Facebook page is only mentioning Windows at this time.
Indeed there is news.
Go to the Finale blog:

and read the blog post from March 10, 2017, by Michael Johnson.
They were released today.

It's nice to see some of these plugins available! I can't find my FAVORITE one, though - the "Yada Yada" tremolo. It's a shame that the tremolos really don't position right in Finale - but the Yada Yada tremolo fixes them in a snap! I guess it's back to Finale 2014.5 for that one - at least for the time being. . .
The JW 64bit plugs for Finale 25 have been available since October 21, 2016.
