I did some score transcriptions and they want to print it in 9x12. When I pdf if in 9x12 to send to them, the right side is sometimes cut off. Is there a way to fix this so they can print it?

Did you change both the score paper size, and the print paper size?

I must not have. I have Finale 2012, I just went to Document - Page Format - Score. I cannot find the way to change print paper size.

That’s probably in your printer page setup. I can’t tell you for sure, since different printers have different options.

I assume you’re sending them a PDF to print?

As do different operating systems. What is yours?

According to a post in the thread “Chord Symbols/Font” Alfredo Guerrieri is using Mac OS.

… I have Finale 2012, I just went to Document - Page Format - Score …

The settings in Page Format for Score are used when Finale creates new pages/systems.

Already existing pages/systems are not affected until you Redefine Pages:

Page Layout Tool.

Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages > …

By The Way:

Have you tried using the Graphics Tool to export pages as PDF?

Does that work in 2012? I skipped that year and don’t have it. I know you can do that in 2014 and that it wasn’t a feature in 2011.

One of the new features in Finale 2012 was PDF export from the Graphics Tool.
