No, you can have them both. At some point in the install, it will ask you if you want to keep F26. Click yes!

Well, you've probably gotten your money's worth out of a 20 year old app. Maybe consider an upgrade to 2014, which is the last PM version. (But a hint - the train is gone!)

Of course! Twice! I went into yesterday's Time Machine and grabbed F26 from there. I renamed it as Finale26 in the apps folder, and all seems good, for the moment. I'm waiting on installing 27.
