Normally, a .bak can be made useable by deleting the .bak, and changing it to .musx. Sure, send it. I’ll try it when I get a chance. My email is encoded in my signature, below.

With the selection tool, double-clicking on a lyric will take you to the correct verse and layer for editing. I would keep F26, just in case F27 doesn't work out for you.
