Since you have to go back and add the open circle individually, you could notate all HH's as closed and then use the (alt) arrow key to change them to open when you go back to add the circle.

Windows 10 is notorious for automatically updating in ways that mess around with programs like Finale.

Are the expressions attached to the staff they appear to be? I find hairpins in particular sometimes look as if they are attached to one staff when they are actually attached to the staff below.
